New England Pop Warner Championships Set Ryan Center Attendance Records

Saturday's two session attendance of 12,220 set the one-day record at The Ryan Center, eclipsing the recently held record set this August when The Wiggles performed two shows to a total crowd of 10,916.  The cheerleading championships also broke the Ryan Center two-day consecutive attendance event record of 13,798. The previous record was set in March of 2003 when the URI Rams played Temple University in the second round of the NIT, followed the next day by a sold out Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Acoustic concert.
