Referral Policy

 

This Policy will cover Group II, Group III, and Group IV

Sign-up times

            Any Member who is has been laid off shall report to the hall with in 30 days. When you report to the hall you must bring with you a current dues receipt and your termination slip. If you have a current dues receipt you can sign the appropriate Book.

 

Re-sign time change

          Beginning February 1, 2004 Local 99 will accept re-signs between the hours of 8:00AM and 12 Noon. There will be no exceptions.

 

Re-sign Procedure - There is 30 day re-sign Policy in effect

            If you sign the book on 8-1-2002, you must re-sign ON that calendar date when it comes around in the next month. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Your original date that you signed the book will always remain your resign date, this date will not change. The rule of thumb is – If you sign the book on 8-1-2002 the next months calendar day 9-1-2002 falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday Holiday you must to be in the office on Friday 8-30-2002.

 

Daily Recorder - (401) 946-9949

            You can call the recorder after 5:00pm daily to find out if there are any jobs available for the next business day. The job location, job type, and contractor will be posted on the recorder. If there are any special requirements, that information will also be provided. If you are interested in a particular job you must report to the Local Union Hall the next business day to fill that call according to your place on the list.

 

Morning Roll Call

            Morning roll call will start after 7:30am Monday thru Friday, (if there are any calls for that particular day). Group I will be called first. Then Group II, Group III, and Group IV. If your name is called from a list, you will be given an option to fill any particular call still available at that time.
